So here we are Tuesday 27th September 2016 and we have started the new design for the garden, I wont give anything away but needless to say it has so far involved 40 parpangs (breeze blocks), cement and beton (concrete), a lot of oooing and arrrggging from David but I am pleased to report the first two parpangs (breeze blocks) are now in situ ready to start the lines of which eventually will become the new …….. area; can’t give it all away before the end result.
For those guests who have already stayed it is the flower bed area that is being “re-designed” but please don’t worry all the lovely flowers will still be there just with added features.
Will keep you all posted on progress

Well that wasn’t a cheap visit to the local garden centre….. they never are I am led to believe but there are such a huge variety of veggies for our guests this summer that you just can’t help yourself! David is now out currently planting various different coloured pepper plants along with fennel, green cabbage and aubergine to go along with the lettuce and potatoes that are already in and coming along nicely.
Whether you love or loath them our sprouts for the “C” word in December are also going in, it is incredible how long these take to produce, we wont get any sprouts until November at the earliest, I can’t believe I am thinking about December before we have even started the summer season…..
Wishing everyone a lovely weekend
